Its been a great festival. After 53 years of this festival, it is an icon. Lots of great bands. Campground was good. Nice area. Weather was pretty good although there were several rain outs (for us...the show went on) and it got in the 40's a day or so. We finally learned to pace ourselves and not expect to see every set for 8 days. Shenandoah was the big draw but there were many top drawer bands. Think we'll be back next year if the line up is good again. We also want to wander around the little town of Nashville, IN near the festival grounds.
As predicted, plans change. I had planned to go to Elkhart to see the RV factory, That would have been great except, luckily, I realized that the Fleetwood factory is in Decatur! That is a little out of the way so we'll skip that for now and mosey on towards Colorado. We're excited about spending a few days in Springfield, IL and seeing all the museums etc for Abe Lincoln.
