Great campground at the Air Force Academy (AFA). Mornings the sky is crowded with small planes pulling gliders to altitude for Cadet flying hours. Some mornings the Sky Diving Club jumps in. Ah to be young again. Cost is only $27/night, full hookups.

Purpose of the stop here was visiting with son Luke and his family. As a bonus, daughter Kathy flew in for a week from Northern Virginia. We enjoyed hanging out with them and their 3 Standard Poodles. They graciously welcomed our 2 pooches so it got exciting.
