On to Cody, WY

Fantastic trip to Cody, WY. Absolutely breath taking scenery. We climbed to 9,627 feet crossing the Big Horn Mountains! The Kitty CAT engine in the RV did an awesome even if our MPG crossing was 4.2! But it got to normal in the flat lands.

183 miles taking 3 hours and 47 minutes. We were in no hurry. We fueled up before we started 33.34 gallons for $100. $3/gallon.

Yea, too many pictures.  xin lỗi

Almost 10,000'

Tibby is enjoying the ride

The terrain is ever changing. After crossing, it looked like Arizona

We were lucky to find a site since I only booked 2 weeks ago (we don't like to have reservations because we change our minds all the time). We lucked out with site 2 at the Parkway RV Campground LINK in Cody for $35.64/night, full hookups and almost in walking distance of the rodeo and museum. We are 50 minutes from the east gate of Yellowstone so an easy day trip. Owner Andy is fantastic. And, he's a Bluegrass fiddle player!
